At Behavior of a Leader, we use science to build future leaders.
Each client will meet with a coach to conduct an assessment. The assessment will include an interview, self-assessment, and 360 evaluation using the science of ABA and ACT. This will help your coach determine what areas of improvement are vital to you and your future goals. Assessments are individualized and will use components of Acceptance and Commitment therapy, along with research on leadership deficits in the workplace.
Self-Monitoring and Accountability
Each client is provided access to an online portal to track your progress on your goals. You will work with your coach on strategies to monitor your progress towards your goals. Your coach will serve as your accountability partner, and can check in on your self-monitoring through the same online portal.
Your coach will facilitate monthly group support meetings, where you can work with like-minded professionals to discuss your goals, barriers, and to brainstorm solutions together. At Behavior of a Leader, we are firm believers that two heads are better than one and three heads are better than two! Group supports provide an opportunity to learn from peers and support each other.
Ongoing 1:1 Supports and Goal Setting
Each client has a standing 1:1 meeting with your coach every month. You will work with your coach to review your progress, set new goals, and create strategies to reaching them.
Clients will review results of the assessment with their coach and will work together to create an individualized leadership program. This will be a fluid document, but will be the guide your coach uses to help you reach your goals. Your coach will work with you to set reasonable goals and create action plans around how you can best achieve them.
All clients have access to a live monthly trainings regarding evidence-based leadership practices. Each month will delve into a different topic, along with specific behaviors you can incorporate into your program to work on the monthly theme.
Evaluations will be conducted at entry into program, midway through development courses, and at exit of program. Evaluations include an interview with your coach, a self-assessment, and 360 evals.
